• Annual maintenance / subscription fee of $90. This includes battery replacement, cleaning, full testing and compliance in accordance with the regulations. Service maintenance fee of $90 applies to Hobart and greater suburbs, regional services upon application.
• Replacement Clipsal Photoelectric 240V with 9V battery backup smoke detector for $99.
• Install a new Fire Angel Photoelectric / Thermal 10 year sealed lithium battery smoke alarm for $88.
• Multiple properties at the one address, 2 or more - POA via your Property Manager. Discount only applies if all properties can be accessed at one time.
• As qualified electricians, there are no hidden costs to change a mains powered smoke alarm and it is done at the time of inspection.

Typical installation costs / example for a residential home or unit:

• Annual maintenance / subscription fee of $90 plus the installation of one 10 year sealed lithium smoke alarm at $88. Total of $178.
• Annual maintenance / subscription fee of $90 plus the installation of two 10 year sealed lithium smoke alarm at $88. Total of $266.
• How many smoke alarms will depend on the floor plan of each property, the property construction type and how many levels the property has.

The annual maintenance / subscription fee includes as many return visits as required per year to ensure the property remains compliant. The property must be inspected prior to a new tenant gaining occupancy, annually for an alarm with a replacement backup battery and to rectify faults.
